The Far North
This collection of images documents my travels from the Pacific Northwest through Alaska. This incredible and vast expanse is defined by an endless mountain range of glacier encrusted peaks. My travels have taken me to some of the most remote and awe inspiring places in this dramatic landscape. Although you might never see any of these sites with your own eyes, The Far North is a very special and delicate landscape. The seemingly impenetrable fortification is one of the last remaining untouched places on earth. As you look though these images, I challenge you to imagine yourself in my shoes and feel the awesome power of nature. I want you to feel the cold fierce winds racing across the glaciers. I want you to feel the warmth of the relentless sun on the polarizing white and blue ice. It is in these moments when you can truly connect with a place and a moment in time. This is the moment when an image becomes reality as you are pulled away into a foreign land, left only feeling the presence of a single moment in time.
